A sound apparatus whose optical properties – translucency, colour and consistency – reveal the hidden existence of sounds. Three sound objects transforming the material disposition of porcelain into an acoustic instrument. A translucent sound image made of porcelain, an acoustic situation in space and a natural resonator that models sound and responds to the acoustics of the space in which it is placed. It emits subtle impulses into the space whose frequencies microtonally orbit around the frequencies of the porcelain plates, a media through which one can listen, but nothing is audibly inscribed on it. In this sense, the instrument remains non-scribable.
